Female Hair Transplantation

What is it and How is it Done?

Hair transplantation for women is a treatment method designed for those experiencing hair loss due to genetic factors, hormonal changes, stress, or other reasons. This procedure is performed to refine the hairline, increase density in thinning areas, and enhance the overall appearance of the hair. Hair transplantation in women is carefully planned and executed using specialized techniques to achieve a natural look that complements the individual’s facial features.

The procedure is typically performed using FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) or DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) techniques. Hair follicles are extracted from the donor area and meticulously implanted into the balding or thinning areas. During the process, the angle and direction of implantation are determined with precision. After a short recovery period, the transplanted hair grows naturally, providing long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing results.

Graft Extraction

The hair grafts required for hair restoration are taken from the back of the head. The hairs in this area are particularly strong and resistant to dihydrotestosterone, the hormone responsible for genetic hair loss. Using a micromotor hollow needle, your hair follicles are carefully loosened and extracted individually with the DHI technique.

Enrichment of Hair Follicles

As previously mentioned, once the hair follicles are extracted, they are cut off from the blood supply and lose access to nutrients. To prevent this, your grafts are preserved in a special solution containing essential nutrients that revitalize and strengthen them.

Hair Transplantation

In the DHI hair transplantation phase, hair follicles extracted from the donor area are directly implanted into the balding or thinning areas using a specialized implantation device. This device allows for the precise placement of hair follicles in a single step while maintaining full control over the angle, direction, and density of the hair. This technique minimizes the time hair follicles are exposed to the external environment, increasing their survival rate. As a result, it delivers more effective and faster outcomes while creating a natural-looking hairline.
